Altnaharra B&B accommodation offers great value for money in a stunning location near Loch Naver surrounded by mountains and beautiful glens.
Our standard price is just £30 pppn (based on two sharing), if you call owners Mandy and Lindsay they will be happy to discuss options. There are Twin Bed and Double rooms with free breakfast. Evening meals can also be provided. From the B&B you will see many types of birds and other wildlife such as our local deer who regularly come by. Whether you are touring, walking or cycling (many ‘End to End’ cyclists stay here), we are happy to chat to you about your plans and where possible assist in helping you make the most of your stay in Highland Scotland.

B&B at Altnaharra provides Double ensuite & twin ensuite to provide options for single travellers and family groups accommodation can be catered for. Evening meals can be provided (£15). The rooms have everything needed for a relaxing comfortable stay including a welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. Rooms with breakfast cost £30 each person (based on 2 sharing).
Located between Lairg and Tongue in the heart of Sutherland, Altnaharra B&B is surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the immediate area there are great Walks, Cycling and Wildlife and Bird Watching. The B&B is a great base to explore the NC500 from.
The NC500 actually passes through Tongue, only 17 miles away.
We are on the A386 to the North of Lairg just below Tongue. Altnaharra is a small hamlet so you’ll probably recognise the distinctive B&B from the website.
